The Easter Bunny last night… the Tooth Fairy tonight!!

I love Easter, it's just like Christmas. We celebrate these holidays for one amazing person, and I am so thankful for him. We are trying to teach our kids that getting presents isn't what these two holidays are all about. That is why we have birthdays, right? Well that's what I thought too, but these boy's daddy loves to spoil these boys (don't get me wrong, I love to buy them stuff too -ha, ha). Of course, it is the time for new church clothes, and maybe a little treat. I love these boys and their little innocent minds, and I hope they stay this innocent for a LONG time (ha, ha). They were so WORRIED about seeing the Easter Bunny, they went to bed early. Can we have Santa and the Easter Bunny visit more often? (ha, ha).

Anyways, YES the Easter Bunny came. We had our AWESOME Easter egg hunts today, as well as yesterday. Let me just say our parents (both Aaron's and mine) do the most awesome egg hunts for their grandkids. As I sit here are write this, I am seeing a heaping amount of candy sit in these boy's buckets. A diabetic's dream -ha, ha! These boys have had a blast!

So now on to the Tooth Fairy… on Friday we took the boys to see the movie Rio. If you haven't seen it, or if you're wondering if you should buy it when it comes out on DVD. The answer is Yes! We all loved the movie and it will be added to our DVD collection. Well while at the movie, Brenner was chowing down on some popcorn and noticed his tooth was loose, since that discovery the kiddo has been begging for someone to pull his tooth. I had to explain to him that his tooth wasn't ready to be pulled yet. But still, he begged and begged. Well on Saturday while walking around at our second home aka Costco, I thought Brenner was asleep in the cart until he sat up and asked me if his mouth was bleeding. He opened his mouth and sure enough there was blood, but it seemed to be around this little loose tooth. So me being the animated idiot that I am, got excited and said "It sure is, it's bleeding around your tooth! You're gonna lose your tooth soon!" Then of course I asked him how all the sudden it was so loose, well I didn't know that question would become the floodgate of tears. He began to cry and said "Mom I've been laying here in the cart pushing on it, and now it REALLY hurts!" What the? I started to laugh and had to explain to him that we can't force our teeth to fallout, they'll fall out when their ready, and that was why his tooth was hurting now. Well to make a long story shorter than it could be…

Today after our egg hunt, Brenner was showing everyone his loose tooth. People would say to him, "here let me pull it," he'd open his mouth wanting it to happen, but the other person really didn't want to pull it. Well the last person he showed was his cousin Mark. He asked Mark if he would pull it for him and Mark being the queasy one in the family, said "Sure, go get a paper towel." Mark was hoping Brenner would back out of it, well sure enough within 3o seconds he was back with a paper towel waiting for it to be pulled. Mark was really not wanting to pull his tooth, but he did, and Brenner was so excited!

Brenner keeps walking around saying "Can you really believe it? I am so excited! That was a piece of cake!" -ha, ha. So now tonight we are waiting for the Tooth Fairy… and we are beyond excited!
